HEALING shibari

I still very well remember my first experience with shibari. One evening after a training day, we were chatting for a while and the subject of shibari came up. One of the fellow students was an experienced person and curious as I am I asked if he was willing to let me experience it. That short but so intense session fueled my passion for shibari

Kinbaku or shibari comes from Japan and is used in different ways, where connection and connection are central. This was also what touched me the first time, the surrender and at the same time a wave of energy that penetrated deep into my heart, and afterwards to be seen and supported in my vulnerability was an experience like never before. By just starting to tie and researching how I could combine this with my other work, shibari healing came about. A wonderful connecting way to meet deep parts of yourself. Some describe it as meditative, emotional, relaxing, confrontational, exciting, acting or feeling seen in total surrender to name a few.

Healing shibari is not bdsm! It is a deep way of healing through rope, consent, polarity and connection. It is a space where you can surrender in vulnerability and strength and rest in security, a place where you can explore your comfort zone in a safe way.
It is not important whether the ropes run perfectly or whether the knots are traditional what is important to me is the effect.
