EMBODIED PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

What if change had to be felt to become real?

At Sense Your Body i create spaces to explore your blocks, patterns, boundaries, feelings and emotions through felt exploration and experiences inviting you to feel how each one takes shape in your body.

Sometimes the next insight isn't another explanation. It's a different experience.

Sometimes you know your patterns and understand what you want to change, yet you find yourself back in the same place. Your head understands, but your heart and body return to what feels familiar. Making sense of an experience doesn’t always change how it feels inside you.

In my practice I offer a safe space to slow down and feel what is happening in your body. Together we explore through sensation, movement and curiosity, giving room to what wants to be felt and expressed. You might notice where you hold back, what helps you relax, or how it feels to allow something different. There is time to discover this at your own pace.

Maybe you long to feel more at home in your body, to enjoy your own sensuality or feel closer to someone. Maybe you want space to explore intimacy, sexuality and your boundaries. To feel your yes and your no, ask for what you need, and allow yourself to receive. Or you keep meeting the same patterns and want to find a different way. I am here to support you in that exploration, wherever you are in your journey.

  • You know what you want to change but insight hasn’t quite changed the experience.
  • You want to feel more present, connected and at home in your own body.
  • You are curious about intimacy, sensuality, sexuality or boundaries, and want to explore them consciously.
  • You want more choice in how you respond rather than simply understanding why you respond as you do.

More room to choose

Begin to recognise the moments when familiar patterns take over. Give yourself time to feel what happens inside you and discover how you might respond differently.

A different relationship with your body

Take time to listen to your body, to notice where you hold tension, what feels good and what helps you soften. With curiosity, you can get to know yourself and what you feel more deeply.

Intimacy with greater agency

Explore touch, sensuality and connection with space for your desires and respect for your boundaries. Feel your yes and your no, ask for what you want, and know you are free to change your mind.

The SOMA Approach

SOMA is my way of working that brings awareness out of the mind and into the body.

Sense. Observe. Meet. Act.

You start by sensing what is happening, observing without judgement, meeting the experience with wonder and curiosity, and discovering new ways to react to what is happening in you head hart and body.

“The practices may change — coaching, bodywork, touch, rope, SPP or other embodied modalities — but the principle remains the same: listening to your body, understanding what it is telling you, and creating the space and freedom to respond from a different place.”

I offer a grounded space of compassion and presence where you can feel heard and respected, explore at your own pace, and stay true to yourself

I work with individuals as well as couples.

I am available in person as well as online.

“There are a few things that need to be in place before trust can grow.”

1 Choice

We begin by exploring what you want. I may offer suggestions drawn from my intuition and experience, and you decide what feels right for you.

2 Agreement

Together, we agree on clear boundaries, what the session will involve and what is off limits, with room to pause or change your mind at any point.

3 Consent

We only proceed with your clear, spoken consent to what we’ve agreed. Nothing is assumed, and you can change your mind at any time.

4 Check-in

I check in with you throughout the session to hear how you’re feeling and whether anything needs to change.

5 Change

You can make a change anytime you want.

6 presence

I stay present and attentive throughout the session, listening to you and responding with care to support your sense of safety.

7 Integration

This time is needed so you can embody the experience and come back to yourself fully.

Testimonials

Marco created such a grounded and accepting space that I could slowly let go of control and actually feel what was happening inside me. The session brought up emotions and sensations I had been holding for a long time.

MARY

I had spent a long time living mostly from my head and found it difficult to really listen to my body. Working with Marco gave me the opportunity to slow everything down and become aware of sensations I normally ignored. He guided me with patience and curiosity, without trying to force anything to happen. What emerged was much more emotional and meaningful than I expected.

NIENKE

What surprised me most about working with Marco was how safe I felt to surrender. Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. His presence is very grounded and attentive, and I never felt rushed or pushed. The ropes became a doorway into something much deeper.

Frequently Asked Questions

What actually happens during a session?

A session can easily be 2 – 2.5 hours. You need time to arrive, become present, experience what arises, and integrate.
Once you arrive and land in the space we start an intake where i ask you questions to get to know more about your desires, boundaries, physical health, and past or present trauma to have a clean space to start the session from.

No. You don’t need any previous experience. Sessions can be approached at your own pace, and we will establish what feels appropriate for you before and during the session.

This work is not presented as a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. It is a form of embodied personal development, combining conversation, body awareness, movement, rope and other practices according to what is appropriate for the session.

The body can respond in ways we don’t always anticipate. There is space to notice what arises without needing to force, analyse or continue. You remain involved in deciding what happens next, and we can slow down, pause or stop whenever needed.

Consent is an ongoing part of the work, not something established only at the beginning. We talk about boundaries and expectations beforehand, and you can change your mind, pause or stop at any point.

My commitment to you

I meet you where you are, with care and without judgement. There is space to be yourself, to share what wants to be shared and take your time with what feels difficult. Your boundaries and your pace guide our work together. I listen with my full attention, bringing my experience and compassion to whatever needs to be seen and heard.

You never have to perform, prove yourself or be anyone other than who you are.
